Clever is a service that Distinctive Schools (DS) uses to unify login credentials and automate rostering to most of its core curriculum programs.  

When students are at school and using DS-issued Chromebooks and iPads, Clever is already setup for quick and easy access.

To log into Clever on a personal PC or Mac outside of school, we suggest the following:

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

• Internet browser preference:  Google Chrome (download)
  • While other browsers will work, since all DS student accounts are Google based, and most grades use Chromebooks, it is most familiar. 
• If you already have Chrome installed, be sure to update it to the latest version 

CLEVER LOGIN STEPS:

1. Sign out of any current personal Gmail accounts.  This is so they don't conflict/confuse with student's Distinctive Google account.
2. IMPORTANT: Navigate directly to one of the unique DS Clever login pages below based on campus (do not just randomly search for "Clever login page"):

3. Click "Login with Google" option and follow onscreen steps. Be sure to type the full DS email address.
   • If you are unsure of email address or password, please ask teacher.
4. Once you log in fully, you will land at the Clever portal screen where curriculum icons will be present.  
   • Any curriculum icons under the heading "Instant Login" will sign in automatically.
     • Available Clever curriculum is based on student campus, grade, subject, among other factors.  Not all students have the same icons in their Clever portal.
   • Icons under "Links" are just shortcuts, and may require additional credentials.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

"Uh Oh" screen: A common reason for this screen is that the incorrect school/district was chosen. Simply click on one of the direct links above to ensure the correct unique login page.
